This 1965 ranch style property is set in Canyon Country, which is known for its backdrop in countless movie credits including notable Cecil B DeMille and John Wayne films. In 2018 the half acre front yard blank canvas was sprinkled with precious mature live oaks and eucalyptus trees. We opted for smaller plantings letting them grow over time. Using the rule of thirds to approach the space planning, we leaned into raw hardscape selections and native plant materials in the hillside with a central cutting garden.
